However, whenever I feel this way I tend to take a trip down to the library or perhaps online to go back to those photographers that made me realize how much I really love what I am studying. They help me feel a bit better about my lack of creativity at times.
As my professor, Mike, always tells me, "Don't put your eggs in one basket." He explains to me that I should shoot and not necessarily work towards an idea. The funny thing is that I keep a moleskine full of ideas and the exact executions I have for them. I feel more comfortable having an idea and working from that.
Here are some pieces of work that inspire to continue without a single idea written on my little journal of thoughts:
Work by Hedi Slimane
Work by Richard Avedon
Work by Mario Testino
Work by Steven Klein
